Also, I agree with Laura.. not only are people busy, but being slow and steady makes us more likely to make sure to stop what we are doing and catch up with what you've posted, I think. Not sure what the sweet spot is, but your game plan seems pretty close to the right mix!
Thanks for this! I agree that it feels like a gentle but consistent schedule and offers a lot of variety in the type of content I'm offering, which appeals to my desire for novelty. Now, to start writing more intentionally and making space for more creativity in my life!
I’m excited for the quarterly coffee Zoom hang-out. In time, it may be an idea for subscribers to vote on a certain topic to explore together during the zoom calls. I’m all for having coffee and hanging out casually but in time, a focus for each call where everyone can share, brainstorm and offer perspectives to one another could be engaging and neat.
Thanks for the suggestion! Calls can get pretty chaotic when you start opening it up to group sharing and having people comment on other people's situations. I'm mostly likely going to do some Q&A, a few breakouts with prompts, and check ins via text. Also, as we grow, the attendees will increase and it'll be harder to manage. I appreciate your suggestion, and that might be better served for a smaller group.
